Welcome to the Department of Information Management Website

Started as a graduate program in 1972, the Department offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Information Management since 1974. Equipped with expert teaching faculty and an up-to-date curriculum, the Department caters for contemporary education for future information professionals. The curriculum contains theoretical and practical courses in Information Management as well as courses on information technology and foreign languages. In addition, the Department contributes to the field by means of scientific publications and project reports on a wide variety of subjects.

The new undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Information Management was approved by the University Senate in its meeting dated April 20, 2011 and will be in effect starting from the fall semester of 2011.
